eo SwimBETTER uses a combination of a pressure sensor, gyroscope, and accelerometer to measure force. The pressure sensor measures the force your hand is applying, the gyroscope tracks the direction your hand is facing throughout the stroke – something we call the angle of attack – and the accelerometer measures the direction your hand is moving. Combining these measures with your hand size gives us a detailed picture of your total power production and propulsive power in the water.
